A list of events for April 2026.

Night of Ideas 2026 at the Wende Museum

Saturday, April 4 | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | The Wende Museum, 10808 Culver Blvd. | Free

The Night of Ideas is back! This year it’s an all-day takeover at the Wende Museum. It’s free, it’s open to everyone, and it’s packed from afternoon into the evening. Expect workshops, VR, live performances, food trucks, and a concert. It’s the kind of event that’s hard to summarize. It spans everything from animation filmmaking to Olympic-caliber music composition.

The afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. is geared toward families. There are hands-on workshops, a video games forum, and a Bob Baker Marionette Theater performance. Come evening? The program shifts. It opens with an original piece by Victor Le Masne, the Music Director of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Then it branches into an interdisciplinary lineup covering art, science, literature, journalism, technology, and more!

Wellness Wednesday: Mindfulness Meditations

Every Wednesday | Ongoing | Glorya Kaufman Community Center at the Wende Museum, 10858 Culver Blvd. | Free

The sessions are led by Christiane Wolf, an internationally known mindfulness and Insight (Vipassana) meditation teacher. She also happens to be a longtime Culver City resident. You don’t have to commit to every session. Just join as your schedule allows. Note that space is limited and first come, first serve. So, arriving a little early is a good idea… even if you RSVP’d.
