Regent Square

Regent Square is known to some as the collection of residential streets between the 10 Freeway and Venice Boulevard. It’s the area from Reynier to the border of the Arts District. It’s an intimate, primarily residential, enclave in West LA. While not widely referenced by name, the area draws local praise. The folks who live here love the community vibe, central location, leafy residential blocks, and quiet, walkable streets.

Regent Square Neighborhood & Local Feel

Regent Square is marked by a diverse, close-knit community with historic single-family homes. There are also bungalows and a growing number of updated properties. Residents highlight the “hidden gem” nature of the neighborhood. It’s off the main corridors, but still central to everything West LA, Mid-City, and Culver City have to offer. Local neighbors enjoy the peace and low traffic. These make the streets ideal for walking pets, meeting neighbors, and enjoying block parties. Proximity to Reynier Village and the Culver City Arts District enhances access to local galleries, restaurants, parks, and creative energy.

Walkability & Local Lifestyle

Regent Square is known for being very walkable. Sidewalks are wide and tree-lined. Some errands can even be done on foot. Residents can grab a coffee in the Arts District, shop at nearby grocery stores, or explore Reynier Park. Walk Scores in and around Reynier Village (just west of Regent Square) are in the mid-70s. This means it’s possible to live car-light, especially with restaurants and small markets nearby. Locals note that this area is quieter and more residential than surrounding districts. Yet, it’s still within walking or biking distance of some of LA’s best emerging culinary and cultural scenes.
